DE - 2 days Pfälzerwald gravel

My mom once share with me a short video about Pfälzerwald. I thought that it should be a beautiful place to visit. When I realized where it was, I thought it was a pitty that I didn't know about it before as I did many times the trip between Frankfurt and Switzerland in the past... and it's only a little detour to arrive in Pfälzerwald.
I had to return to Frankfurt for the week and I could stop on my way back. The expected forecast was more like summer days than spring so that was great instead of the rainy days we had during the week.
In order to plan, I checked the main highlights by searching first on internet, once I knew where to go, I adjusted the tour on komoot with other highlights, checking elevation and type of ways. Another important point to check was where to sleep. I found that Müllers Lust could be a good place so I changed the start in order to also have a good place to sleep on friday evening. Hauensteiner Hof was also a friendly familly owned business.
Overall it was a perfect weekend with beautiful views, a lot of efforts, nice gravel roads, some singletrails to visit highlights and only a difficul uphill path destroyed by wild boar or other animals.
